Goal takes a look at the biggest transfer stories from the Premier League, La Liga, Serie A and beyond throughout the ongoing summer window

DI MARIA LINED UP AS NEYMAR REPLACEMENT

Paris Saint-Germain winger Angel Di Maria has been identified as a potential new signing for Barcelona should they lose Neymar to the Ligue 1 side, according to RMC.

Rumours of a blockbuster €222 million move continue to circulate around the Brazilian, despite claims by Gerard Pique that he is staying put.

And while Paulo Dybala and Philippe Coutinho also appear on the Barca shortlist, the Argentine is similarly seen as a possibility to fill the attacking vacancy that would be left by Neymar's exit.

MONACO NAME MBAPPE PRICE

Monaco would be willing to sell Kylian Mbappe if they were to receive a bid of €180 million, according to L'Equipe.

The Ligue 1 champions are continuing talks over a contract extension with the teenage forward amid interest from Manchester City and Real Madrid.

And they are now set to consider selling, but only if their demands are met financially.

ARSENAL FAIL IN €50M LEMAR BID

Monaco have rejected Arsenal’s third offer of €50 million for Thomas Lemar, but the winger’s sale hasn’t been completely excluded, reports L'Equipe.

Arsenal had previously seen bids of €40m and €45m turned down, while Monaco vice-president Vadim Vasilyev insisted earlier this week that Lemar is not for sale.

CHELSEA READY £61M ALEX SANDRO BID

Chelsea are prepared to break the world record transfer fee for a defender to sign Alex Sandro from Juventus, according to The Times.

Manchester City have already broken the record during the transfer window after signing Benjamin Mendy for £52m, but the Blues will overtake this with their £61m outlay for the 26-year-old left-back.

CHELSEA MAKE SANCHES BID

Chelsea have made a late bid to sign Bayern Munich midfielder Renato Sanches on loan, according to the Daily Telegraph .

The Portugal international had looked set for AC Milan, but Blues boss Antonio Conte spoke with Bayern manager Carlo Ancelotti about a potential deal when the clubs faced off earlier this week.

Bundesliga champions Bayern are only willing to let the teenager leave on loan despite his disappointing first season at the Allianz Arena.

MAN UTD GIVEN BALE HOPE

Manchester United are on red alert after being given hope of signing Gareth Bale by Real Madrid, according to The Telegraph .

Jose Mourinho's side could be on the verge of a fresh move after Zinedine Zidane could not guarantee that Bale will stay with the club this summer.

Madrid are hoping to sign Kylian Mbappe in a record deal, with the former Spurs man seen as the most expendable of Los Blancos' stars.

CHELSEA TO MOVE FOR BARKLEY & OX

Chelsea are preparing to spend £50 million to sign Ross Barkley and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, The Sun  reports.

The England internationals have been linked with moves during the current window and the Blues are looking to add more home grown players to their squad. Antonio Conte's side are also hoping to land Alex Sandro from Juventus.

INTER PREPARE VIDAL BID

Inter have made Bayern Munich midfielder Arturo Vidal their number one transfer target and are preparing a bid of €50m, according to Gazzetta dello Sport .

Bayern Munich want to keep the 30-year-old Chile international and are readying a new contract offer, but reportedly are not prepared to increase Vidal's salary significantly.

COUTINHO TO COST BARCELONA £133M

Liverpool have reluctantly named their price for Barcelona target Philippe Coutinho, according to a report from Sport

The Brazil international has reportedly agreed a deal with the Camp Nou side, though the Reds are determined to hold onto their star player.

If the Liga side are serious about landing Coutinho, they will have to pay £133 million for his services according to the Spanish publication.

UNITED TO SCOUT DENDONCKER

Manchester United are set to send scouts to watch Anderlecht midfielder Leander Dendoncker, according to De Morgen .

Representatives from the Red Devils are set to attend Friday's Jupiler League opener between Anderlecht and Antwerp, though they face competition from AC Milan and RB Leipzig.

The Belgian champions reportedly are set to hold out for a fee of £34m for the 22-year-old.

BARCA STILL IN FOR MBAPPE

Barcelona have not yet ended their pursuit of in-demand Monaco youngster Kylian Mbappe, Le Parisien reports.

The Blaugrana are planning for life without Neymar as the Brazilian continues to be heavily linked with a big-money move to PSG - who also retain an interest in Mbappe - and see the 18-year-old as the perfect replacement.

MILAN ASK ABOUT RONALDO'S INTENTIONS

Milan's CEO Marco Fassone and Massimo Mirabelli had a meeting with agent Jorge Mendes in which the subject of Cristiano Ronaldo was broached, according to Sky Sports .

The Serie A club bosses were hoping to be alerted to any situation that would see the Portugal star leave the club, though there are no negotiations over a potential deal at this point.

BARCA OFFER RAKITIC IN COUTINHO DEAL

Barcelona will offer midfielder Ivan Rakitic as part of any deal to sign Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho, according to a report from Don Balon .

The Camp Nou side are determined to secure a deal for the Reds playmaker, though Jurgen Klopp and his team are unwilling to let him leave Anfield.

In an attempt to tempt Liverpool into selling, however, Barca will allow Rakitic to go in the opposite direction.

ARSENAL TO MISS OUT ON MIDFIELD TARGET

Arsenal are to miss out on the signing of Barcelona midfielder Arda Turan, with Galatasaray set to complete a deal, according to the Mirror

The Turkish side have offered Turan around £70,000 a week to return to the club following a frustrating stint at Camp Nou.

PERISIC TO BE OFFERED NEW INTER DEAL

Despite near constant links with Manchester United, Ivan Perisic will be offered a new deal to remain with Inter, with the Serie A club looking to make him a star, according to Football Italia   who cite a  Mediaset Premium report.

The Serie A club do not believe Man Utd will come back in with an improved monetary offer or with a deal that includes Anthony Martial in exchange.

MAN UTD WANT €50M FORSBERG

Manchester United are looking to sign Emil Forsberg from RB Leipzig for €50m if their move for Ivan Perisic fails, according toCalciomercato .

United's move for Perisic has failed to progress as planned with Inter Milan, and the Leipzig winger is seen as a suitable alternative option by Jose Mourinho.

SPURS CHASE BENFICA MIDFIELDER

Tottenham Hotspur are ready to make Benfica midfielder Ljubomir Fejsa their first signing of the summer, according to the Sun .

The 28-year-old defensive midfielder helped Benfica lift the Portuguese league title last season, and may be willing to sell him for a reduced price to Spurs rather than let him leave for free in the summer of 2018.

WILSHERE TOO EXPENSIVE FOR SAMPDORIA

Sampdoria have halted their interest in Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere due to his wage demands, according to Calciomercato .

Wilshere looks set to leave the Gunners after spending last season on loan at Bournemouth, but will not be moving to Sampdoria as the 25-year-old would push the club above their wage limit.

AC MILAN JOIN RACE FOR COSTA

AC Milan are keen on securing a deal for Chelsea striker Diego Costa, according to Gazzetta dello Sport .

The Spain international has been frozen out at Stamford Bridge and despite reports he is pursuing a move to either China or Atletico Madrid, Milan are attempting to arrange a transfer with Costa's agent Jorge Mendes.

BARCA AGREE COUTINHO DEAL

Barcelona have agreed a deal with Liverpool midfielder Coutinho, according to reports in Mundo Deportivo via RAC1 .

The Spanish side have come to terms with the player, though will still have to negotiate with the Premier League club, who have already rejected a €75 million offer.

ARSENAL INTERESTED IN SERI

Arsenal are considering another raid on Ligue 1, with Nice midfielder Jean Michael Seri having attracted the attention of manager Arsene Wenger, L'Equipe reports.

Seri was one of the stand out players as the Allianz Riviera side challenged for the French title last season and had been expected to move to Roma earlier this summer before a move broke down.

Swansea had a €17 million offer rejected and Tottenham are also keeping tabs on the Ivory Coast player's performances.
