Coutios hopes Sanchez misses Community Shield

CHELSEA goalkeeper Thibaut
Courtois hopes that Arsenal Star
Alexis Sanchez will not feature
against the Blues on Sunday when
they clash for the community shield.
The game will be contested
between the Premier League winner
and the FA Cup holders at Wembley
Stadium and it usually represents the
season’s first silverware.
The speculation surrounding the
Chilean international has interrupted
the Gunners preparation as he is
continuously being linked with a move to Manchester City and Paris
Saint -Germain.
Courtois has admitted that it will
be a big boost for his team should
Sanchez be unable to feature against
them.
‘Alexis is a guy with a lot of
quality,’ the Belgium international
told reporters. ‘If you see all the
games from last season there is a
lot of danger coming from him.
‘He has a very strong shot, he is
quick. He has the technique. He is
important for them but Arsenal has a
lot
o f
p l a y e r s
with quality.
‘So they will miss him but
I think they have a lot of
players with that quality
to replace him. I think
they have
bought a
g o o d new striker
(Alexandre
Lacazette).
‘ I ‘ d prefer if he
(Sanchez) doesn’t play
b e c a u s e he is a good
player! But we cannot
only look to him.
‘For example in the FA Cup
Final (Arsenal beat Chelsea 2-1
in May) they missed some defenders and
everybody thought they would be bad
