Morata cries out: They are killing me!

Life in England is different and there is no second chance for a first impression, Chelsea star Alvaro Morata can testify.

Morata admits he got a harsh dose of reality after his missed penalty in Chelsea’s Community Shield defeat to Arsenal and the pressure is on him more than ever.

The 24-year old told Marca: “I admit it’s a very big fee but I have

personality

to play quietly and go my way.

“I have only played two pre-season games, 15 official minutes and a failed penalty – and they’re already killing me, so I know what’s ahead.

“It is the price that must be paid for such a large transfer. And it’s something that motivates me and makes me work harder every day.

“I know now twice as many people look at me.”

The hitman – who won two league titles with Juventus before doing the La Liga-Champions league double last year must hit the ground running to take the pressure off his shoulders as Chelsea begin their title defense against Burnley at home on Saturday.
